Over the years, Bewsys has made substantial strides in pushing forward the sustainable development goals. We have impacted lives through our solutions, touching on the SDGs that highlight social protection, agricultural development, and inclusive healthcare.
Even with the difficulties 2020 brought, we strived to secure stability within the organisation. We migrated to remote work and continued to foster participation and the achievement of the SDGs. Our membership and commitment to global communities such as the UN Women's Empowerment Principles (UN Women WEPs), UN Community of Practice, and the UN Global Compact, have helped us to actively contribute in leaving no one behind.
This year at Bewsys, we are working to meet United Nation’s 2030 Agenda, with a particular focus on strengthening local partnerships and collaborations with government, non-profit organizations, and non-governmental organizations alike. This will help us create long-term impacts; fundamentally, SDG 17 (Partnerships for the goals) - that is the bedrock of our new year’s resolution. The SDGs are designed to address the massive economic, environmental and social challenges that the world faces. The COVID-19 pandemic has proven to us that collaboration and partnerships, and the power of technological innovations make it easier to advance the achievements of any goal.
Partnerships with our local community can help us structure sustainable projects beyond corporate social responsibility. These partnerships can unleash innovative ways of working on developmental issues within our communities, create shared accountability, and increase our scale to build a more sustainable digital ecosystem. We are confident that real transformation will be generated through this, and increasing benefits will be obtained through shared value.
Happy new year, and cheers to providing more custom sustainable, and cost-effective software solutions to impact organisations and transform lives in 2021 and beyond.
